Race team, supercar modifiers, or now just car builder. British firm Lanzante has worn many hats over the years, but its most famous might be as the racing team that brought Le Mans victory to the McLaren F1 GTR in 1995. Since then, the company has gained a reputation for servicing McLaren road cars like the P1 as well as racers, and for developing its own machines like the just-announced Project 95-59. Now, CarBuzz has discovered a UK trademark filing that hints at Lanzante’s plans for after the launch of the 95-59, something called ‘One R’ that could be a tribute to its greatest-ever motorsports effort.
