Not only have you probably not heard of the Ford EXP Turbo Coupe, developed by the SVO team, you might not have heard of the Ford EXP in the first place, an eighties-era two-generation compact based on the North American version of the Ford Escort. The car was also sold under the Mercury banner as the LN7 in its first couple years, and was a part of what Ford hoped would be a new start for the brand, after the grueling malaise era, and the departure of Henry Ford II, Lee Iacocca, and chief stylist Eugene Bordinat.
