When Tesla launched the updated Model Y, it brought some new styling and new features. It added a new rear screen, and adaptive matrix headlights that will be legal in the US. It also lost some features. The most-affordable rear-drive variant was dropped, and so was the Performance trim. It also lost its third-row seat option. That last feature we wouldn’t have thought anyone would miss, but there must be some demand, because Tesla is apparently bringing it back, and it alerted current owners via email.
