Power and torque are concepts we all know and understand, right? Well, not everybody can accurately describe the difference. Imagine, for a moment, you’re stopped at a red light when a slammed ’06 BMW 330i revs in the lane next to you. Obviously, you want to put that car in its place, so you rev back. Tensions are high as you both eye the signal in front of you, then BAM! The light turns green, you mash your accelerator to the floor as the throttle opens wide, but you don’t go anywhere because your tires spin on the asphalt as the teenager in front of you disappears into the sunset.
