A little-known hypercar manufacturer from the Czech Republic has laid down a massive gauntlet, setting a new record around the Dunsfold track for the fastest street-legal, combustion-only car at the track famously used as the Top Gear test track for decades. With Ben Collins – racing driver, Praga test and development driver, and ex-Stig – at the helm, the Praga Bohema lapped the famous circuit in 1:09.8, just one tenth of a second shy of the time set by the Aston Martin Valkyrie, despite a power deficit of nearly 500 horsepower. That’s not bad for a car that only went into production in January last year.
