In the States, few automakers have achieved the same sort of fame as Chevrolet. It’s one of the oldest marques currently in operation, and has maintained its near-peerless popularity for well over a century. During the classic muscle car era, Chevy was responsible for the muscle-bound model with the most factory-rated horsepower, the 1970 Chevelle SS LS6, with a big-block capable of pumping out 450 horsepower.
