Pirelli has been in the business of making performance tires for decades, with its P Zero line dating back to the mid-1980s with Lancia’s Delta S4 rally cars. It has also been making tires in the US since 2002 at its factory in Rome, Georgia. That factory will be making a totally new P Zero model called the Trofeo Track, and it’s not only made in America, but it’s specifically for the region, and not for any others. The reason for this is because of a particular niche market in America: club racers.
