Volkswagen may be facing struggles as far as its electrification rollout goes in the US, delaying the ID.7 sedan indefinitely and focusing on hybrids for a little while instead, but the brand is a global entity, and it knows EVs will remain a core part of its future. But it has now emerged, or rather been confirmed, that Volkswagen will give up its strange EV-specific nomenclature in favor of more common names everyone knows.
