The Nissan Leaf has reached its third generation, and the most obvious thing to notice is that it has switched to yet another design language. Back when it was introduced in 2010 as the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle, Nissan used a deeply apprehensive frog as the main inspiration. I jest, but that was back when EVs were meant to stand out, so owners could show the world that they cared so much about emissions that they’d gladly sacrifice style on the altar of automotive excellence.
