Audi recently discontinued one of its most well-known models, the A4, which went toe-to-toe with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. If you walk into the dealership now, they will likely show you the new 2025 Audi A5 Sedan, which essentially acts as the A4’s replacement. While the outgoing A5 was sold in three body styles – coupe, convertible, and Sportback – the new one will only be sold as a sedan (technically still a Sportback with a hatch, despite what the name suggests). That means the A5 is more practical than the A4 it replaces, but it’s also a lot more expensive. Is this a smart move, or a total blunder?
