The Buick brand has served as one of the several luxury marques under the General Motors umbrella, rivaling other high-end, premium models offered by the Ford Motor Company’s Lincoln and Toyota’s Lexus divisions. Among these are several crossover and SUV models, which, until the early 2020s, offered one of the smallest SUV-esque models to bear the Buick badge, known as the Buick Encore.
